Deja Vu
03:53
|
|||
I know I'm awake somewhere, somewhere
Even when I'm in bed asleep
I don't really think dreaming is understood yet
Doesn't anyone know what it means?
When deja-vu is chasing you are you already dead?
I'm not sure which way time travels
We could still be alone in the end
What a nasty habitat
Will you fall or mind the gap?
Every day it all comes back
Everyday the same sunrise / sunset
Every day the same comical mess
Caste systems beg me to wonder
If I'm here because I lost some bet
If deja-vu is after you has your path been set?
It is like waiting in line for my own death
But I'm too bored to stress
What a nasty habitat
Don your lateral thinking cap
Will you fall or mind the gap?
Every day it all comes back

Yesterdays
04:12
|

Its been nearly a decade
Now its so far away
I'm still having those flashbacks, man, I had had one today
I can still smell that greenhouse
See that smile on your face
We had some good days then they locked you away
Thats the funny thing about yesterdays
The feeling's close but you can't reach
Now the only thing that you can change is your mind
I remember it clearly
I'm sure you do the same
We stayed up for a month straight just making drum 'n bass
I got high and that keyboard smashed all over the place
I still have the cassette tapes that we made for that rave
(True story)
Thats the funny thing about yesterdays
The feeling's close but you can't reach
Now the only thing that you can change is your mind
